Energy
A brand and design system for an energy business going direct

- Result
- 4 markets in 11 months
The problem
Twenty years of B2B equity, and nothing that spoke to a household. The internal design function was three people supporting six country teams who had each invented their own interface language.
What we did
We ran a positioning sprint with the exec team, landed on a proposition the country managers could actually sell, then built a design system with localisation baked in rather than bolted on.
- Consumer-facing positioning and identity system
- Component library covering 140 interface patterns
- Governance model so country teams can extend without forking
Outcome
Four market launches in eleven months against an original plan of two. Design review cycles dropped from nine days to two.
